Horizontal is an eight-year-old KWPN licensed stallion by Casall out of Quick Star. Heis bred out of the mare Mel d’Argences, who enjoyed great success with Edwina Tops-Alexander. Mel was a fast, agile, and fiercely competitive mare, traits that are unmistaka-bly passed on to her offspring.
Produced by Maikel van der Vleuten, Horizontal boasts a remarkable clear-round recordof over 80% throughout his career. Now competing at 1.45m level, he continues to shineunder the saddle of the multi-Olympic medallist.
